Moses excluded from 25 shorlisted player for CAF best player award for 2013. Mba makes the cut....


Nigeria became the first African  country to qualify for world cup, Brazil 2013. The super eagles who are also the current African champions defeated Ethiopia by 2-0 to win on 4-1 aggregate score. The head coach of the super eagle, stephen Keshi also became the first African coach to qualify two african teams to the world cup.




It was a suprise, that liverpool and Nigeria striker Victor moses, was excluded from the 25 man list shortlisted by CAF for the best African Player for the year 2013.However, 5 Nigerians players made the cut after their impressive display at the African nations cup.

The winner will be announced at the Glo-CAF Awards Gala scheduled for Thursday, January 9, 2014 in Lagos, Nigeria.
