VERION CONCLUDES PLAN TO BUY YAHOO FOR $4.8 billion....
After months of speculation, Verizon Communication have concluded a deal to buy struggling internet company, Yahoo Inc for $4.8 billion.
Yahoo Inc has witnessed one of the most dramatic business falls in
history for a company that was once valued at $125 billion. Other
companies which expressed interest in buying Yahoo include Bain Capital,
Vista Equity Partners, TPG and Advent International Inc but Verizon is
expected to conclude the deal before the close of business on Monday.
